Description: Sig Sauer P365 Manual Safety, Non-Textured. Made from steel and coated with a black finish, this manual safety is manufactured for the P365 pistols chambered in 9mm. This manual safety will fit models that came with the safety only, and allows the user to manually release the safety mechanism. This part is made to the same high factory specifications, materials, and standards as you have come to expect from Sig Sauer. Great for replacing a worn or damaged part or to keep as a spare, you can rely on genuine Sig Sauer parts to keep your pistol in top shooting shape.

I didn't realize this doesn't come with a spring or spring detent. I like the safety, and MGW also sells the spring stuff, so everything worked out. It was just frustrating to find out I had failed to order all the parts

Purchased a SIG P 365xMacro which came without a thumb safety. Purchased the Safety Lever, spring, and detent. Watched the video PRIOR to installing the safety lever. Whole job took about three minutes! CAUTION: When the external thumb safety installed, the trigger group will NOT fit back into the xMacro frame. I had to use a P365 XL frame cut for external safety. I would highly recommend the thumb safety for anyone wanting an external thumb safety on their P365 series pistol. Easy to install, and they work exactly as intended.

Works and is not too big. Be aware, you will need to order the detent and detent spring. Those two items are not included with the safety. I bought a Sig 365 grip with safety cut out. Everything went together fine.

I got the safety as an assembly. It is very easy to install and it fully addresses the need for some kind of external safety. I could get along without it but the trigger pull is light and a less safety cautious person can cause a personal issue if the trigger is somehow snagged (like when holstering).

Was a fairly simply, straightforward thing to add a safety to my P365XL. Bear in mind, you need the detente and detente spring. You will have modify the grip frame with a dremel or buy a new grip frame. Modifying the old one was pretty simple, even without a template— but go slow and expect it to take awhile to properly fit.
