DIP Marlin Model 60 Complete Trigger Guard, Silver

First, this is a very over-priced item with very few moving parts that is worth almost nothing in material value. Picture a trash can full of empty soda cans. That's about what's in it material-wise. However, I knew what I was buying and it beats plastic. Let's face it, most people are not going to machine their own trigger assembly. I personally love the Marlin model 60s and also knew I was going to keep the rifle I put this trigger on for the rest of my life. That's because I have invested more into the rifle than people are willing to pay to buy it. It's literally a keeper. If you know you are going to keep a Marlin model 60 you like, I say go for it. Otherwise, I say stick with plastic or buy a rifle that is currently in production like a 10/22. I wouldn't count on the value of Marlin model 60s going up in your lifetime either. The market and American households are flooded with them. It has been like that since long before I was born too. This trigger assembly is literally a blowing money because you have it expenditure.

I bought this because the plastic trigger guard that came on Marlins from the factory ad split behind the safety and the trigger mechanism no longer worked. This one dropped in easily and I am not worried in the slightest that it will break.

Although a bit pricey in my opinion, it was a definite improvement over the broken trigger originally on my grandson’s Marlin rifle. The fit, finish, and function were “spot-on!” My grandson was very happy with the results of my repair/replacement of his rifle with this part. I’d highly recommend it.
