Description: Lantac A2 Blast Mitigation Device, 5.56mm/9mm/MPX/AK. Manufactured from 4140CMV steel with a QPQ Nitride finish, this Lantac GEN2 A2 Blast Mitigation Device is for firearms chambered in .223 Rem, 5.56x45mm, and 9mm and utilize a Dragon muzzle brake. By mounting onto the Dragon Muzzle Brake, this BMD device allows the muzzle brake contained inside to continue to function as normal. The design of this device features unique "through" ports that connect the muzzle brakes vertical vents to the outside atmosphere. This Gen2 system also utilizes Disruptive Venting, two Trefoil threaded ports for manipulating and disrupting gas flow while reducing vertical flash signatures.

This BMD is mounted to the Dragon Muzzle Brake through the use of the adapter collar. This device comes complete with A2 mounting collar that is designed to function with ONLY the following non pinned & welded LANTAC Dragon Brakes: DGN556B (5.56/.223), DGN9MMB (9mm 1/2x36), DGN9MMC (9mm MPX), DGN9MMD (9mm 1/2x28).

The BMD, Blast Mitigation Device is a unique blast shield that allows the muzzle brake contained inside it to continue to function as normal with regard to muzzle climb mitigation. The patent pending design features unique "though" ports that connect the muzzle brakes vertical vents to the outside atmosphere. This feature allows the brake to function while within the device unlike other systems that alter the way the original device works and inevitably remove or massively reduce efficiency. The new Gen2 system utilises Disruptive Venting, two Trefoil threaded ports disrupt gas flow and reduce vertical flash signature while still allowing the device within the BMD to control muzzle rise. Concussive muzzle blast is directed forward, down range and away from other shooters and team mates. Radial teeth at the exit aperture help to disrupt blast gas as it exits the device. The BMD mounts to the collar via a rotating lock ring.

Does not work with Dragon GemTech or SilencerCo suppressor mounts.

Only works with Lantac Dragon muzzle brakes. Does not work with DGNAK47B Dragon Brakes. Does not work with A1 adapter collars.
