Description: C&H Research Mercury Recoil Suppressor. Helps counteract the painful effects of recoil using mercury, one of the heaviest, densest, liquid elements. Compact, permanently sealed steel case is made from bar stock; the only moving part is the liquid mercury so there's no wear, no chance of leaks. Mercury's viscosity varies only 1% from 0 degrees F. to 90 degrees F. which means the recoil-fighting performance is consistent in almost all weather conditions. Fits in rifle or shotgun stocks for easy installation and removal.

Added to the stock of my 13 yr old's Mossberg 20ga. Due to her small stature she needs a lighter gun, the Mossberg kicked like a mule. It was not useable for her until the addition of this recoil reducer.

After installing noticed a difference shooting on my lead sled with my 6.5 Creedmore! And a friend shooting my rifle noticed a significant difference using his bipod. Somewhere around at least a 30% reduction would be my guess?

I used this in a Benelli Nova Shotgun. It works just like the Benelli made 14 oz recoil suppressor that is not only more expensive but incredibly hard to find. The one I used was the 5 inch 16 oz model which fit perfectly in the stock of the Benelli Nova shotgun (Using the available bracket of course)

I had only a general expectation about the results of adding this unit to my gun, but I have been very satisfied with the reduction in recoil it has effected. The price was reasonable, the installation simple, and the results have been very good. This is a rare bargain in my estimation.

I've heard of the suppressors for many years but never had a need. I recently installed the suppressor into the stock of a Browning O/U due to the recoil and the recoil was tamed. The trigger resets the 2nd hammer through the inertia of the recoil. Tested the shotgun with 3 and 2 1/2 dram round without a problem. All is good.

Reduces recoil and feels more balanced for weight. used phillips screwdriver to remove recoil pad and bored out some of the foam to install. Awesome 👌
