Description: Apex Tactical Browning Hi-Power / Springfield SA-35, Low Profile Magwell. The Apex Tactical Low Profile Magwell is designed for the Browning Hi-Power and Springfield SA-35 model pistols that utilize the Apex Tactical 17 or 19-round magazines. This magwell provides larger colosseum-style frame entrance for faster reloads while adding minimal bulk or length. Along with the low profile magwell, this kit includes two stainless steel anchoring bushings, a slotted 5mm x 24mm spring pin, a #7 drill bit, and a 4-40 x 1/2" socket head screw.

Features:

  • Provides larger colosseum-style frame entrance for faster reloads while adding minimal bulk or length (1/4" added length)
  • Engineered mag well-to-frame entry interface improves magazine-to-frame channel alignment with the SA-35 factory frame bevels
  • Must be used with Apex 17 or 19-round magazines
  • Fits in IDPA ESP Division Box using Apex 17 round magazines
  • Smoother, faster reloads with less chance of error
  • Simple, straightforward installation using simple hand tools
  • On SA-35 models only, requires NO frame cutting or welding for a near-seamless fit
  • Minor alterations to the BHP and Girsan frame are needed to attach properly
  • Machined from a billet of StressProof Steel for durability and black oxide finished

Includes:

  • Apex Tactical Seamless Fit Magwell
  • Slotted 5mm x 24mm Spring Pin (for use in the Springfield SA-35)
  • x2 Stainless Steel Anchoring Bushings (for use in Browning Hi-Power and Girsan MC P35/P35 PI* pistols) *Will not fit the Girsan Match or OPS frames
  • #7 Drill for installing Anchor Bushings on Girsan and BHP frames
  • 4-40 x 1/2" Socket Head Screw (for easier installation/removal of Anchor Bushings)

Fits:

  • Springfield Armory SA-35, Browning Hi-Power Mk I-III, Girsan MC P35 and MC P35 PI models
  • Will not fit the Girsan Match or OPS frames
  • Not tested in ANY OTHER manufacturer's firearm

This Magwell is marketed as fitting the Browning Hi-Power. It will fit only after significant modification to the Magwell. Much filing and grinding are required to clear the features on the gun frame. Care must be exercised to avoid pushing the Magwell too far onto the original magazine entry. That is easy to do. I remain uncertain about the purpose of the screws and collars. They are not sized to function with the hole left by the drill bit. The spring pin worked just fine. The customer is pleased.
