Description: Apex Tactical CZ Scorpion Optimized Grip, FDE. This Optimized Grip is manufactured by Apex Tactical for the CZ Scorpion and Scorpion EVO 3 S1 pistols and carbines chambered in 9mm. This grip features a Flat Dark Earth polymer body, veritical backstrap serrations and aggressive frontstrap checkering. Included with this Apex Optimized Grip is a set of user installed grip tape panels. This Apex CZ Scorpion grip is proudly manufactured in Arizona, USA.

Huge Improvement

This is a huge improvement over the stock grip, but I’m not convinced it’s perfect.
The pros: The grip angle and point-ability is miles better than factory. Looks and feels like an actual pistol, instead of the factory’s mutant pistol/straight stock lever action abomination.
The cons: the front and sides of the grip are not lined or neatly checkered, as it looks in the pictures. Instead they are stippled, and feel like a lot of bubba’d glocks where the stippling is done way too coarse and misaligned. They include some tape inserts to smooth the sides, but they’re easy to get misaligned, and frustrate you. If the factory recommends them, put them on already. Last reservation I’ve got and this is entirely my preference: the grip isn’t tactile enough. It’s the 21st century. There is no reason that this grip can’t be coated in the same grippy material as a hogue.
Overall a huge improvement with some minor reservations, but I’d still say worth the money.
