Description: Apex Tactical Ruger MK IV Action Enhancement Kit, Black. This Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Kit is manufactured for the Ruger MK IV pistols chambered in .22 LR. Made of steel components, this kit includes a red Apex Action Enhancement Trigger, hammer, safety plate, 1/4" OAL over-travel set screw, 5/16" OAL over-travel set screw, and a safety delete. This Apex Tactical kit is great for replacing lost components or upgrading your MK IV pistols.

The Apex Action Enhancement Kit replaces the factory trigger and hammer and is designed to reduce the trigger pull weight by approximately 45% to around 3.0 lbs. The kit delivers a crisp trigger break while reducing the trigger's over-travel by over 80% (when adjusted as per our installation video) and overall trigger travel by 25%. Also included in the kit is a safety plate to maintain factory safety values, and a steel magazine safety delete which, when installed, allows the pistol to fire without the magazine inserted (recommended for competition use only).

This trigger kit is a great upgrade to a Ruger MK IV 22/45. The pistol is a joy to shoot with a consistent and light pull. Feels great and easier to shoot well. Buyer be warned: this is not an easy drop-in trigger. The internals of the MK IV is not as simple as some. With the help of a good video to use as a guide, it can be done, but unless you are mechanically sound, I would recommend a competent gunsmith.
