Description: Sig Sauer P938 Recoil Spring Guide. Manufactured from quality steel with a black coated finish, this recoil spring guide is for the Sig Sauer P938 pistol platform chambered in 9mm. This spring guide functions by retaining the recoil spring within the pistol. Keep your P938 in top operating and reliable condition with this OEM recoil spring guide.
This is a single piece guide rod found in newer P938 slides (SAS, Legion, Etc.). Be sure that your firearm uses this guide rod and not the old-style two piece guide rod from older slides (part #1202129-R)

I was searching for a 1 piece guide rod. This is not labeled correctly as it is for the SAS version only. The "new" version stated on the site doesnt apply to the current production guns such as legion etc. Unfortunately I wasted money purchasing this. Sig confirmed it will not function properly in any gun other than a p938 SAS. Would be helpful to others to post that on the description.

This is an upgrade that is well worth the peace of mind it delivers for under $30. One can use red loctite to remedy the 2 piece guide rod issue. It will work, but for how long? I was very disappointed when mine caused multiple malfunctions on the first day. I am feeling much better with a 1 piece guide rod. I will update after range time, but it fits and I expect it will do the trick.
