This forend will fit Mossberg 500, 590, 590A1 and Maverick 88 12 gauge shotguns with a 6-3/4" action slide. This new forearm is perfect for replacing your worn forearm, or for upgrading the appearance of your Mossberg shotgun. Mossberg factory parts are made to the highest specifications and standards. This forend is perfect. The contour fits the hand and allows for a better grip especially when shooting buck or slugs. The extra weight helps as well and the checkering is smooth unlike the factory that digs into the hand. The one downside is certain heatshields do not fit with this as the sides are taller than factory, but at least the gun doesnt jump out my hands.

I needed to glue two small pieces of wood into the space between the twin bars that operate the shotgun. Other than that, I'm sure that it fits perfectly for the Mossberg 500 models.
