This full size mainspring housing is manufactured for the Sig Sauer 1911 fullsize pistols chambered in .45 ACP, .38 Super, 9mm, 10mm, and .40 S&W. This component is produced from steel and retains the mainspring, cap pin, mainspring housing pin retainer and cap. In conjunction with the appropriately installed components, the mainspring housing is installed into the rear bottom of the pistols frame. This quality, factory original Sig piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.
