Machined from reliable steel, this 2 piece recoil spring guide is manufactured for the Sig Sauer 1911 Ultra Compact pistols chambered in 9mm Luger and .45 Auto. This recoil spring guide is installed in conjunction with the recoil spring and recoil spring plug and functions by preventing the recoil spring from binding and equalizes muzzle climb more efficiently. This factory original OEM piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged part.
