Description: Heckler and Koch Mark 23 Grip Insert. Formed from a black polymer material and made in Germany, this OEM part from HK is designed for H&K Mark23 pistol models chambered in .45 ACP. The insert is installed in the bottom portion of the grip to secure the hammer / hammer spring as well as providing a lanyard attachment point. Mk 23 grip insert

Well, there's not much to say except that I hate "locks" on guns. If you find yourself suddenly needing your gun, and the lock is locked, you're screwed..!! When the adrenaline dumps into your body's system, your fine-motor skills are the first thing to go. If you have to insert a "key" into the lock on the gun, you're well and truly screwed. For that reason, I do not want "locks" on my guns. This grip insert REPLACES the American politically-generated block insert that utilizes a keyed insert and a lock...!!
