Hex Head Locking Screw for MR556 Handguard
5 out of 5

I got this to replace the screw that I butchered when attempting to remove the OEM 12.5" M-LOK handguard off my MR556. The original was a slotted hex head that was a bear to take off. For future reference, I recommend using a socket instead of a large screwdriver. This replacement screw is tightened using an Allen wrench, so now I can carry an appropriate-sized one in the buttstock should I need to remove the handguard. The price was significantly less than half the price of the other vendor who had it in stock, although I thought the $7.99 shipping charge was a bit high given the size and weight of the screw.
