Description: Smith & Wesson X-Frame Gas Ring. This stainless steel constructed gas ring is manufactured for the Smith & Wesson X-frame Models of revolvers chambered in the the .500 S&W Magnum, .460 S&W Magnum, .45 Colt, .44 S&W Special, .44 Magnum and .454 Casull cartridges. The gas ring once installed, protects the ejector rod from gases escaping from the cylinder and barrel gap. This piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement part for a lost or damaged component.
