Description: Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 Threaded Barrel, 4.6". This OEM factory original 4.625" long, threaded barrel is constructed from steel and is specifically for the Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 full sized pistols chambered in 9mm. This threaded barrel features a TPI of 1/2" x 28 and is finished in black. The barrel can replace a 4.22" non-threaded barrel of the M2.0 full size pistol. This barrel is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.
Pistol Fitment:
M&P 9 M2.0 Full Size models that utilize a 4.25" barrel (measures 4.22").
Note: It is recomended that all Smith & Wesson parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith

After install it has run flawlessly through 1000 rounds and I’m am really happy with it.
When it arrived I did notice a burr on the chamber that was stopping it from fitting in but a quick visit to my LGS and they were able to make it fit.

great item and shipping, but it was pouring the rain when the fedex person delivered them and they put them on the porch that don't have a roof instead of having common sense to put them in the carport or on the porch that has a roof, the box was soaked, fedex sucks

Incorrect Barrel length.

Fit and finish is great, functions perfectly. Although it is listed as a 4.6" barrel which it is not. It is actually 4.875" long. If you are installing this in a 4" slide then know it will protrude almost an inch, .875 to be precise. If that is not an issue for you then all is great.

OJ would be proud of the snug fit this barrel has! Fits as well as my OEM, yet allows for a comp or suppressor.

This is the same high quality barrel that Smith uses on their tactical models. I bought this for my 2.0 Compact. The 2.0 compact uses the same threaded barrel as the 2.0 full size. It sticks out a little further than I'd prefer, but functions 100%. This barrel does not come with a thread protector.
This is a good price for an OEM barrel that is accurate and functions with boring levels of reliability.
