This stock is for use with 28 gauge and .410 bore Stoeger Uplander side by side shotguns. This stock is made to the highest Stoeger standards in material and workmanship. Stoeger Short Length of Pull Stock

Bought this to interchange with the original stock for use by members of my family having a shorter length of pull. By removing the butt plate and retaining bolt, I can adjust this uplands .410 for whomever is using the shotgun that day - this was a very economical solution for a solid shooting shotgun. Our Uplander was bought in the early 2000s - that checkering was done by hand (the new stock is only laser cut) and the bolt hole placement on the receiver has slightly changed over 20 years, so we had to rasp out the hole to make it work. But it did fit exactly with no extra inleting required. Great wood in this new stock - dense and easy to cut down to length. Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase - but it did required some extra work.
