Description: Stoeger STR-9C Backstrap, Compact Black, Small. This factory original backstrap is manufactured from durable polymer for the Compact Stoeger STR-9C pistol. This small-sized backstrap installs to the back portion of the grip to adjust gripping comfort. This factory original backstrap is perfect to get you back shooting or to keep as a spare.
Note: It is recommended that all Stoeger parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

I ordered this small backstrap for my new Stoeger STR-9C. The medium size that came with the gun was to big and definitely not a comfortable grip. MIdWest Gun Works was the only place online that had them in stock. Placed order for two and they arrived quickly. The small backstrap was the perfect grip for my hand. Also, the texture of the small grip is so much more comfortable than that of the medium size grip. The medium size was just to rough in my opinion. Feels like the perfect gun now. Fast shipping and great pricing. What more can you ask for.

This backstrap didn't come with my Stoeger str9c and wasn't available through the distributor. My pistol is now a perfect fit after finding one at Midwest

The only complaint I have of the Stoeger STR9-C is that the backstrap is prickly and somewhat uncomfortable. The small backstrap which I just purchased, has a higher number of spikes, which are also smaller, and it is a definite improvement in grip comfort over the large and medium versions. I recommend this change to anyone with this same issue. The only way it would be better, is if it were textured and rubberized. As it stands, it is an improvement over the standard backstrap.
