Description: Mossberg 500 Action Slide Nut, 12ga. Blued, Fits 7-3/4" Slide Assy. This slide nut is made from a gloss blued steel and is a factory original Mossberg component. This slide nut is made for the 500 Mossberg shotgun model with a 7 3/4" slide assembly. The slide nut attaches to the end of the slide assembly and secures the forearm around the assembly. This item is perfect for replacing a worn component or to keep in the parts chest as a backup for your Mossberg shotgun. Mossberg factory parts are made to the highest specifications and standards. This is one of the exact parts I needed to install the Magpul Forend designed for the 590 onto my Maverick 88. Additionally, Midwest Gunworks is the only place that had it in stock AND didn't overcharge for it!

Purchased new action slide for my mossberg500. This slide nut fit as specified. Only issue I have with the product is it is designed with small thread pattern that if your not careful can cross thread easily. Delivery took almost 2 weeks, I suspect due to cobid19 and post Christmas shipping catch up. I received the product and it worked for what it was meant to.
