• The STI high rise beavertail Grip Safety is designed for all 1911 and 2011 pistols. It is produced out of 4140 steel or 17-4 stainless steel. The safety arm is pre-notched, has a deeper strut groove, and pre-cut knuckle clearance, providing positive safety activation and comfortable high grip. The grip safety can be removed without the removal of the mainspring housing (an industry first).
