Benelli Super Black Eagle II Performance Shop Extended Bolt Release

My original bolt release was worn out and this wasn't only a replacement but an upgrade with the extension paddle. No drilling lile other button extensions.

I chose the no drill option with the Benelli bolt release and it was so easy that way! The roll pin removal was the most difficult part of the procedure but it was really simple. I particularly like new bolt release with “Benelli” written on it, gives the release a professional look. It was spendy but no more sore finger from the original release button.

This is an expensive upgrade! But it is also a night and day difference in the performance of my favorite gun. I absolutely hated the original bolt release button on my SBE2, hard to work and was a literal pain to use. I did not like the looks of or way other cheaper extended bolt release options had to be drilled and tapped into my original bolt release button. This is a finished look and looks great on the gun. Hated the cost, but loved the upgrade.

It is a nice accessory for any Super Black Eagle 2.saves the fingers from the small carriage latch button.

Very simple install

Since I have installed the extended bolt release, I have put over 200 rounds through the SBE2 with no issues. Has really saved my thumb from the original design. I really like it and would suggest it to anyone with the SBE2. Definitely an upgrade and not just a replacement piece.

Too bad Benelli didn’t release this with their factory SBEII. Very simple to install. Take the trigger assembly out. Knock a roll pin out. Take the old release and spring out. Put the new release and spring in. Replace the roll pin and reinstall your trigger group. Function test and your ready. It makes the release so much easier to push.

I rate this product 5 stars. I have an SBE2 and have so far replaced the stock bolt handle with the enlarged bronze version that is offered by Benelli (Code 60010). This is so much better and easier to operate. It is also easier to remove when disassembling the gun. I also replaced the stock button bolt release with this enlarged paddle version that is offered by Benelli (Code 60004). I am very happy with this product. It is absolutely great. I highly recommend. I also replaced the stock magazine spring with a lighter mag spring. In my opinion, the stock spring was a little too stiff and made loading shells a bit of a struggle at times. The operation of this shotgun now is so much more comfortable and smoother, a night and day difference and improvement in performance. Now, I just need to find a carrier that has the tip of it welded up or closed-in so I can load shells more smoothly without tearing up my thumb. In my opinion, the tip/end of the carrier needs to be extended in length and closed in on the end. I believe that the gap between the carrier and mag is a little too large. I hope this review helps.
