Description: Winchester Model 70 Sight Plug Screw, Blued. This steel crafted OEM factory original sight plug screw is manufactured for the Winchester Model 70 rifles chambered in both long action and short action cartridges such as the .300 Weatherby Magnum, .223 Rem, .308 Win, .30-06 Springfield, .22 Hornet, .300 WSM, 7mm Mauser, and more. This screw features a coated matte blued finish and is perfect as a replacement piece or range bag spare.
Note: It is recommended that all Winchester Model 70 parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

These were used to plug the taps revealed from removing the factory sights on a Model 70 XTR—those removed for optic mounting went MIA. Fit was perfect; blueing is a great match; and they were delivered promptly. I will be back for any future needs. Thank you!
