FN 509 Magazine Release, RH only

Love the right hand only release. MGW has the parts I need for my FN 509 midsize and compact. Fast shipping and great service.

I had an issue with the ambidextrous release getting in the way when releasing the magazine. This solves the problem and it’s factory.

Great cheaper alternative to the Apex extended release, with that said this is extended over the factory release. I purchased this to change out the ambi release on the 509CT and it helps the function while also looking great.

Was having issue of random unintentional mag dump. Discovered it was knuckle pad of trigger finger depressing ambi mag release. Installed RH only and viola, no more surprises while running the course.

Love my 509 but had some trouble with the stock mag release. This extended right handed release was just the finishing touch the pistol needed. Works great mags release easily. Thanks MGW

I bought a regular 509 and have always hated the magazine release having to be crammed in to release the magazine. The provides a better fix, still have to push in farther than the Glock 19 but it’s better than it used to be.

Installed it in my FN 509 Compact model and made magazine releases smooth. Before I had the ambidextrous release which caused problems due to the other side pressing against your hand.

Purchased this mag release to replace the OEM one on a standard FN509. The original ambidextrous release was sticky and hard to use. This Tactical Mag Release protrudes a little more and is RH only. It installed in just a couple minutes and now it works perfectly and magazines are easy to eject and they fall of their own accord. Why FN puts such a crappy, hard to use release on such a fine pistol to start with is a question but this replacement part solves the problem excellently. There is a YouTube video that shows the easy way to install this part.

I had trouble dropping the mag from my FNS-9 because my grip hand would prevent the ambidextrous release on the left side of the grip from protruding enough to release the mag. This release solves the problem!

Great enhancement makes reloading easier. My right middle finger doesn't get in the way now. Fast shipping a even during Covid-19.

I purchased a FN 509T two weeks after they came out. I run them as an EDC, competition gun and at many shooting courses. Over time due to being faster with a mini red dot sight, my grip changed. At my last course, I dumped my 24 round magazine a few times due to grip change. I had noticed this too at my last two competitions. I had to do something. I ordered two 509 right hand user magazine deletes. The piece has great curves to match the gun and gives a nice look. The left side magazine release is still super easy and the right side still works but you have to push in really hard and far. It's perfect. I have been doing lots of speed shooting and sub second draws to ensure this would work well. I cannot find a down side to this part. I highly recommend this to anyone experiencing accidental magazine drops.

Bought an FN 509. Ambi mag release. It SUCKED. Didn't stick out enough to activate release and right side for lefties stuck out more. Read an article. Try mag release from FN tactical. Tight hand only. Watched a video on how to do it. Googled the part. Got Midwest. Ordered the part. EXCELLENT service from Midwest. Had the part in like 3 days. Put it in. AWESOME. Pops the mag as well as any gun I have now. Cant go wrong getting your parts from Midwest. I give them 5 stars.

I replaced the OEM ambi-release with the RH only release on my FN 509 MRD Compact. I felt the OEM ambi-release stuck slightly but the RH only feels great no issues.
