Description: FN 509 Compact Tactical 9mm Pistol, Black w/(1) 12 Round and (1) 24 Round Magazine. Packing a full-size punch into a concealable and tactical compact size, the FN 509 Compact Tactical 9mm pistol system is perfect for commercial, law enforcement and military users alike. This pistol features the FN America's patented Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, a 4.32" long cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with 1/2" x 28 TPI, polished chamber and feed ramp, a black finished slide with improved front and rear serrations and suppressor height Trijicon 3-Dot green tritium night sights. The frame features an enhanced grip textured black polymer grip for easy concealment and faster follow-up shots along with a MIL-STD-1913 accessory mounting rail under the barrel for your favorite light or laser. The pistol also has an ambidextrous magazine release and slide stop lever. Included with the FN 509 Compact Tactical pistol are two interchangeable backstraps, a 12 and 24 round magazine, an extra optimized recoil spring assembly, owner's manual, locking device, and an FN logo soft pistol case.
The Low-Profile Optics Mounting System hardware comes with this pistol as well to affix a wide variety of mini red dots (MRD) to the pistol. The MRD system can accept red dot sights from Vortex, Trijicon, C-More, Leupold and others. Below is the 509 MRD config chart for popular sights. Please note, this pistol does not come with the Aimpoint Mount.

4.32" Cold Hammer Forged Steel Barrel
The barrel of the FN 509 Compact Tactical features a 4.32" cold hammer forged barrel with a recessed target crown and a polished chamber / feed ramp for optimal function. The barrel also has 1/2" x 28 TPI threading to attach your favorite muzzle device or suppressor.
Trigger
The trigger of the 509 has a trigger pull of about 5.5 - 7.5 lbs.
Firing Controls
Boasting an ambidextrous magazine release and slide stop lever this pistol is great for righties and lefties alike.
Slide Features
The steel slide features serrations in the front and rear for improved slide manipulation. The extractor is located externally on the slide as well as the loaded chamber indicator (LCI).
Night Sights
Suppressor height Trijicon 3-Dot green tritium night sights are installed on the slide of the 509 Compact Tactical.
Extended Magazines
A 12 and 24 round magazine is included with this pistol. Each mag fits flawlessly with the pistol to ensure an even, continued, grip.

Firearm Purchasing Policy
Midwest Gun Works sells firearms only in accordance with all Federal, State & Local firearms regulations. Midwest Gun Works will only ship a Firearm to a Federal Firearms License holder (FFL). FFL holder must be located within the United States. We do not and will not ship firearms internationally. In order for Midwest Gun Works to ship your firearm purchase, you must complete the following steps:
- Midwest Gun Works must receive a legible and SIGNED copy of the Federal Firearms License from the dealer that will receive the firearm. This can be done via fax, email or standard mail.
- Payment must be received via Credit Card
Important note: Please insure that you or your FFL dealer includes your name and order number with FFL when Emailed or faxed.

Shipping
WE WILL ONLY SHIP TO VALID FFL DEALERS.
Once payment and a signed FFL copy have been received, Midwest Gun Works will then process and prepare the firearm for shipment. All firearms are typically shipped via UPS or USPS Priority Mail. Most shipments going to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped via USPS. Shipping rates vary according to geographical location and final value of Firearm being purchased. Minimum shipping rates are as follows:
- Long Guns: Minimum shipping rate is set at $32.00, with any additional charges being added once final value and location of receiver have been established.
- Hand Guns: Minimum shipping rate is set at $41.00, with any additional charges being added once final value and location of receiver have been established.
* Any additional shipping charges not shown during online check-out will be presented to the customer for approval prior to processing the order.
Once your FFL Dealer receives the firearm, you as the purchaser will then be required to fill out all pertinent paperwork with them in order to take possession of your firearm.

- Not all of the states listed may have L.E.O. exemptions.
