I have a 1980 marlin 336 and my spring broke, causing it to hang up sometimes when reloading. my ejector assembly is the blued one and I liked that better, so I bought this, popped the spring out and then, because it was slightly longer than the old one, filed the butt end down with a few passes of sand paper real quick and it fit perfect in my old assembly just as I suspected. The gun is butter smooth now.
