Factory Marlin 1895 ejector

Had to order this part because I lost my original one while cleaning my rifle. Original factory part that fits my Marlin 1895 perfectly. They did not have the black one in stock so I just took a small file and removed the nickel plating on the round end that sticks out of the gun and used a Birchwood Casey blue pen to touch up the area I filed the nickel off of. Can not tell it’s nickel plated and not blued from the outside. I ordered two of them just in case one breaks or gets lost again since it’s getting harder and harder to find factory Marlin parts from the original company.

Bought this for the little spring

I have a 1980 marlin 336 and my spring broke, causing it to hang up sometimes when reloading. my ejector assembly is the blued one and I liked that better, so I bought this, popped the spring out and then, because it was slightly longer than the old one, filed the butt end down with a few passes of sand paper real quick and it fit perfect in my old assembly just as I suspected. The gun is butter smooth now.
