Benelli M4 and Super Black Eagle 3 12ga Carrier

I bought this part for one of my M1 Super 90s to replace it's annoying "thumb catcher" carrier. I noticed on my M4, the carrier is longer, and can be reloaded without snagging your thumb. The M4 carrier's "fork" is smaller than the M1 carrier, and reinforced around some areas, but they are interchangeable. Replacing the carrier on my Super 90 trigger group took less than 15 minutes; just remove the central hinge pin, keeping the hammer in place and use a punch as a slave pin, then swap the carriers. Although I haven't live fired it, it dry cycles reliably, and now I can load my M1 without getting my thumb caught in the receiver. This is a good way to replace a "thumb catcher" carrier on a Benelli M1 without spending a lot of money on an aftermarket one. The very front "fork" of the carrier I received differs very slightly from the one on my factory M4, but otherwise the finish and functionality appear to be the same.
