Description: Faxon Firearms RemAge 8.6 BLK 16" Modified Light Palma Profile Barrel, For Remington 700 Style Actions. Manufactured from 416-R stainless steel with a salt bath nitride finish, this 16" RemAge style barrel is produced for the Remington 700 rifle platform. This Light Palma profile barrel is chambered in 8.6 Blackout and employs an impressive 1:3 twist rate to channel rotational energy to increase energy on-target. Faxon 8.6 BLK barrels are fully stress-relieved, air-gauge tested, Magnetic Particle Inspected, and 11-degree target crowned to ensure superior accuracy. Faxon RemAge Style Barrels for 8.6 BLK ship with an M18 x 1.5 Thread Protector, Taper Adapter, and Faxon RemAge Style Barrel Nut.

Bought for a slim and lite setup. Barrel was a bit more than the 2 pounds I saw on here but thats probably just for the barrel and not the extra install items like the barrel nut or thread protector

I bought this barrel for a lightweight hunting rig. It came in weighing 2.38lbs- a good 19% heavier than listed. I contacted Faxon and they said: ooh, my bad. Yeah. It’s almost 20% heavier than we listed on our website. Don’t worry, it’ll still shoot the same. What a major bummer. Faxon, figure your stuff out before you start marketing it to be competitive with the current market.
