Benelli M4 only comes with one Modified Choke. This is ok for birdshot, but did you get an M4 for that? I purchased a Cylinder Choke to be able to shoot slugs and buckshot. This choke is a perfect flush fit for the M4. I'm very pleased with this purchase. A+ quality product. With Modified and Cylinder chokes, you can do anything. Maybe consider Improved Cylinder.
