Description: Wolff AK-47 Extra Power Recoil Spring. This Wolff extra power recoil spring is manufactured for the AK-47 rifles capable of firing 7.62x39mm cartridges. This high quality steel extra power recoil spring is designed to provide approximately 15% extra power over factory original springs and the extra power recoil spring insures positive breeching and improved performance. These springs are perfect as spares, immediate replacements, and for fine tuning your AK-47.

This is definitely a much stronger spring than the really weak one that came with My PSA AK from the factory. A little tough to get on the guide rod but works well and should last a very long time . Cycling through my rifle has been flawless, zero break in period.

After watching a u-tube video of the cheek slap/pinch I was getting with my rifle, I found this to be a common occurrence with others also. The remedy for the problem was to put a heavier recoil spring in it. Yep....cheek slap/pinch is now gone. Thank you.

I have a WASR 10 and it has been destroying brass cases when ejecting them due to the severe recoil. No problem with steel cased ammo - just brass cased ammo. I reload and had hopes that this recoil spring would solve that problem. It did not. It did reduce the recoil some and would certainly be an excellent replacement for a worn out spring. It appears to be a very high quality product. What ultimately solved my problem was the KNS adjustable gas piston. I recommend the Wolff spring as a good replacement part, but not to solve severe recoil problems.

Had a Zastava Npap that wouldn’t return to battery once the bolt was brought back, whether it was manual ir by firing. This extra power spring was easy to install and fixed the problem with no issue.
