Descripton: Winchester Model 101 Checkered Buttplate. The screw spacing on this butt plate measures 3 1/2" center to center. This plate is oversized and will require fitting.
Note: This buttplate is flat and will only fit stocks that are cut flat to receive this plate or recoil pads.

I believe this to be a quality reproduction of the original plastic buttplate. It's made oversize and will have to be trimmed and fitted to the stock. A little pricey, but an added bonus-it's also the correct type plate that will fit on a Winchester model 42 shotgun.
