removal tool for a SXP?

I needed a tool to remove the nut on the forend of a SXP pump shotgun in 12 gauge, and the description didn't say SXP. So I took a chance and bought it anyway. Well, the lugs were to large to just drop in and fit so I got a file and removed some metal on the tool, 15 minutes later I had the nut removed. Note I read that the nut was loctited on so I heated the nut up before with a heat gun before trying to remove the nut.
