After several years and dozens of boxes of shells, the original slide buffer gave out and crumbled into pieces. Ordered a new one from MGW and it fit and worked perfectly as expected. It did not come with any installation instructions and I could not find much on the topic searching online and youtube. It mounts in a tight space which is hard to see and get to. A headlamp and plastic coat hanger to hold the plunger back really helped. You need to make sure the hole the buffer plugs into is completely cleaned out of all old plunge remnants. I used an o-ring pick set which worked good for me. Guns fired without missing a beat since installed.

This is a factory replacement buffer for the Browning Gold 12 gauge autoloader with a 3 inch chamber. I have installed and tested it. It works fine. The price at MGW is about half again higher than other places you can find it, but I had other items in my MGW order, and it was convenient to buy it at the same time.

Good quality, the perfect part. Grossley overpriced. I was embarrassed to tell the customer how much the buffer cost. I wondered if the Winchester buffer was a substitute, the illustration of each part looked identical, or the same part priced at around $10.
