Fit perfectly on my Gold Hunter and helped fix my failure to feed problem. I was amazed how much shorter my old spring was.

New spring was 2 inches shorter. I called support they said spring rate was different . I have not tried it yet so I can’t honestly say if it works or not!

My Winchester SX3 waterfowler 12 gauge has taken a few swims over the last few duck seasons, including a dip in the Pacific Ocean. After one rainy and wet hunt this season, I forgot to remove the action spring and clean it and the action tube. Predictably, both parts rusted a little and slowed the action. I ordered a replacement tube and spring from MGW. Both arrived quickly and installed perfectly (it takes some tools and knowhow to do this though). If you have rusted or gunked up your semi-automatic action, I highly recommend this part replacement. Also good to refresh a factory spring that might be worn out from storing the action open or shooting thousands of rounds.

My shotgun had difficulty cycling light loads. With this replacement, 1-1/8 low velocity loads cycle the gun correctly.
