Spring retainer cracked during annual duck hunting trip. Not easy to find a replacement but MGW had one on in my hands in a few days. Easy install and hopefully this one will last longer than the factory retainer.

I purchased a Browning Gold Hunter and it had several worn parts. This was one part that it needed. The old spring retainer was worn to a frazzle!

As far as ordering and delivery of the retainers, MGW has done their job very well both times. Thank you! As far as my 2008 Winchester SX3, I love it, but I have had to replace this plastic retainer four times so far since I have had it due to the raised lip breaking off. The gun is not shot alot, as I only use it for VA deer hunting. My only wish is that Browning/Winchester would make a stronger plastic retainer replacement part.

These are factory Browning parts. They are what I expected them to be. If I had one complaint it would be they were much cheaper in price when I could buy them directly from Browning. Midwest has raised the price considerably. But when no one else has them, you can charge what you want.

Browning gold Hunter 12 ga 3" fits and works. My advice is go ahead and grab the mag cap retainer (Code: BST1423002) with it.
