The original bolt was not salvageable due to the extensive damage to the gun from a UTV accident. This bolt is about an 1/8" shorter than the original. As a result, I am not able to snug the butt stock to the receiver as tight as it should be. I am going to have to drill out the butt stock 1/8" to allow a deeper seating of the bolt into the receiver. What do you do when this is the only blot available? I have to recommend this item because it is the only bolt replacement offered by Browning. Keep in mind you may have to modify your butt stock to acquire a proper connection to the receiver.
