Description: Browning A-Bolt Stock Crossbolt Shaft, 375 H&H. This factory original Browning stock bolt, or cross bolt, is made from steel for A-Bolt and A-Bolt II rifles chambered in .375 H&H Mag. The bolt, of which two are used in total, installs through the stock to reinforce key areas to prevent splitting when firing larger caliber ammunitions. Browning A-Bolt History

The production of the A-Bolt bolt action rifle began in 1985. In 1994, Browning introduced the BOSS (Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System) and with it the A-Bolt II. The A-Bolt II Model is currently in production.

  2. Date of Manufacture is a two digit code:

  3. A-Bolt Type:
    2G7=Gold Medallion
    217=Medallion

1994-1998

In 1998 Browning redid the standardization of its serial number identifications to work with its new data base program, Oracle.

  3. A-Bolt II Type: 351=All A-Bolt II Centerfire Rifles
