Description: Sig Sauer P228 / P229 9mm Threaded Barrel. Made to the highest Sig Sauer standards in material and workmanship. This factory original part is perfect to replace you original worn parts, or to just keep your Sig Sauer firearm running in top operating condition. Ths barrel is for older P229/P228 models and will not work with a barrel that is currently labeled with "P229-1". Kit up, dress up, or replace your original parts with nothing but genuine parts from Sig Sauer.

Upgrade or replace the barrel on your P229/228 with this original SIG SAUER part. The threaded barrel is chambered in 9mm and allows you to attach a suppressor or other muzzle device. A knurled thread cap protects the end when no device is attached. SIG SAUER factory replacement pistol barrels are specially heat-treated for toughness and durability.

It required some machining to get it to work in slide, other than that it’s great. It was rubbing along top of slide and wouldn’t close. Conversion from .40 to 9mm

No drama from MGW - product was in-stock, then processed & shipped fast. No 7 day delays due to the virus. As I hoped, it fit my 229 Elite as described. The gun cycles properly, no stovepipes, and barrel is long enough that compensator doesn't interfere with the the slide. Only negative is Sig use the backwards metric thread vs. 1/2" X 28 tpi like the rest of the world.
