If you have an extremely dirty shotgun and shoot a constant diet of high brass loads these connecting rods will break. If you have to replace these are the ones to use. Very well made. Midwestgunworks is the place to purchase your parts . Great Company

I do the repairs/maintenance of the firearms for one of our local shooting clubs, which rents shotguns out for sporting clays shooters. These guns get used a lot, and hard. The connecting rod is a failure point for these Berettas, and I have replaced a few. The new rods fit tight, without slopping around like the old, beat up ones. Always add a new pin when you change these out, as the pin wears down in diameter with use and that allows for too much side-to-side play in the rod, which accelerates wear.
