Purchased a used A400 and noticed this part was cracked. Ordered 3 of them. Getting the spring back in was challenging. This is plastic and should be metal. They said if the bolt was closed without the barrel attached this will break. Previous owner must of done this. Great firearm. Midwest had these in stock and a good price.

Purchased a used A400 xcel and upon inspection I found the recoil sleeve broken. Part was available and at good price. Ordered a spare also. Not much fun removing and reinstalling the spring. Works fine. Happy customer.

It's a plastic sleeve that is frequently broken because of Operator Error. Usually broken when the user allows the bolt to close by accident when the barrels is off the gun. I bought just in case I experience an Operator Error.
