Description: MagGuts Sig Sauer P365X & P365XL High Capacity Magazine Conversion (For Factory 12 Round Magazines), +2. This high capacity magazine conversion kit is manufactured by MagGuts for the Sig Sauer P365X and P365 XL pistol platform chambered in 9mm. This conversion kit allows for a +2 capacity increase to a 12 round magazine with almost no sacrifice in length and no impact on concealment. This set-up reuses the OEM mag sleeve and consists of a high quality spring, MagGuts base, and follower. This conversion kit is perfect as an upgrade to your mag, offering more rounds for more operation time.
This conversion reliably turns your Sig P365 X or XL 12 round magazine into a 14 round magazine with almost no length increase. The spring, follower, and base are replaced with MagGuts components while the magazine housing and magazine sleeve are reused. MagGuts pushed innovation through their "out of the box" approach to R&D and came up with a novel system that turns an already impressive capacity dense firearm into a weapon with a density of firepower that almost seems impossible.

Adds 2 rounds and improves grip for pinky finger. Quality and finish beats anything else I've seen. Watch the video / follow instructions for easy install. If it doesn't work, it's not the product.

Work great. The flat spring is very tricky and difficult to compress into the magazine when re-installing the base plate. The spring has a tendency to fold to one side instead of compressing straight down. Holding that down while sliding the base plate back on should not be underestimated. Wear eye pro and keep your finger or hand pressure on the spring at all times. Using a thin punch or flat screwdriver to push down on the spring while installing the base plate helped but also risked slipping which results in a subsonic launch of spring and follower.

Every once in a while a product proves to be truly great.. these kits count in that group. Long term is something i cannot speak to as that is yet to be seen. All I can say is that I have had zero hiccups running these mags for a month or so now. Mag holds open on last shot every time, no feeding issues.

I own 4 & will buy more. I recommend deburring the sharp edges of the spring. After performing a torture test on the springs simulating 500 loadings, the spring force with 1 rd was still as much as with the stock Sig spring with 1 rd. Yet when loaded to capacity, the stock Sig magazine with 12 rds required 40% more force to insert the magazine than the MagGuts 14 rd Mag against a closed slide. The 12rd Sig mag required 58% more force to rack than the 14 rd MagGuts mag against a closed slide. The last couple of rds in the MagGuts magazine can require double the force to chamber the round than the SIg mag, but it doesn't appear to affect reliability. I believe that the flat MagGuts spring design is superior. So far no failure to feed problems. But it's too soon to know the long term reliability.

It adds +2, so that brings the total to 14 +1 for the p365xl.
The replacement base/floor plate protrudes approx 1mm more than the oem. It's hardly noticeable. Instruction manual could have better illustrations but there are plenty of YouTube vids on it. Overall installation is simple.
