I received the new bead and a fairly short amount of time. Unfortunately I wasn't able to install it on my 1187 that I've had for 35 years because it was stolen out of my truck. So I leave this in my gun room pinned to the wall, hopefully some crackhead will have a really smart idea to bring it to a pawn shop so I can get it back. Otherwise I will definitely order from this company again.

Broke the factory bead off my v3. The replacement broke attempting an install. The thread able piece is completely rounded so it is difficult to get a bite onto instead of having parallel flat surfaces to easily thread on. Fortunately a friend happened to have a fiber optic extra bead that happened to have proper thread saving upcoming waterfowl hunts.
Would not buy again. Buy an aftermarket bead that can install easier till the design is changed.

Somehow, my OEM bead loosened itself and fell out of the vent rib, first ever that I have experienced. Contacted RemArms and got the run around, so went to MGW only to find this item was out of stock, so I requested I be notified as it became available. I did so with much trepidation as so many on the internet these days offer this and do not follow through. Well, MGW did follow up, I ordered it, and it was in my possession within days, I was ecstatic on both their customer service and the replacement sight bead. Happy shout out to MGW!

this is the second one I have had to put on.. IF it was made out of steel and painted it would be much stronger but it does work and is easy to install. It is made out of plastic or something like that. drop the gun it is gone.. come on remington you can do better than that.. Yes I recommend this sight because I haven't been able to find a steel one ..
