Description: Remington 870 Wingmaster, Light Contour Barrel, 12 Gauge, RemChoke, 26" Length, Vent Rib, High Gloss Finish. Extra barrels are a handy accessory when you wish to change barrel length. Please note one important caution when ordering extra Remington Shotgun barrels. Do not attempt the use of any Remington Shotgun barrel except on the specific model it is intended for.

Note: Model 870 Extra Barrels with 3" chambers will fit Super Magnum, Magnum, and 2-3/4" receivers. These barrels will handle both 2-3/4" and 3" shells when used on Magnum receivers. Use only 2-3/4" shells when these barrels are used on 2-3/4" receivers. It is recommended that all Remington parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

I bought my 3in Mag 870 with vented 30" full choke barrel back in 1975. I always wanted another shorter barrel for this gun. I have been looking for the past couple years, but they have been sold out or only had rifled slug models. So when I found this barrel on MGW website, I decided to purchase. It fits my gun perfectly. I like the shorter barrel length, double bead vented rib, modified choke. This shotgun was used a lot for hunting, but now its main purpose will be for home defense. Shipping was quick, about 15 days after the order was placed.
