The insert is designed to fit butt plate frames of Remington Model 870, 1100 & 11-87 shotguns. Fitting by a qualified gunsmith may be required. This insert is installed into the butt plate frame to cap-off and complete the butt plate assembly of the stock. The insert is made to the same factory specifications, materials and standards as the original parts in your firearm.
