Should be flawless for the price, but wasn't.

The new barrel camo pattern looks great and matched perfectly to the gun. For the exorbitant prices that Beretta gets for these barrels though, the finish should be flawless. The stamped lettering on the side of the barrel was blurry and nearly unreadable. The original camo barrel has clear, crisp lettering. This replacement barrel is an obvious QC miss. I am disappointed in the finish aspect but the fit and function of the barrel seem to be on point.
If anyone else offered a barrel for these guns I would try them. So far, all I have found available are OEM $750+ Beretta barrels. Maybe another barrel manufacturer will recognize the Beretta barrels have a known problem bulging and blowing up at the start of the choke tube threads and will offer an aftermarket option. I would feel better about that than the overpriced Beretta option, knowing it is could just be a matter of time before it also needs to be replaced. I believe it is a QC issue/miss with the bulging barrel problem, so the blurry lettering doesn't do much to inspire confidence.
