Very Sturdy Steel Tool

Glad I found this tool, I was looking at some elsewhere that were made of aluminum, and weren't as thick in the cross section - but I was dealing with a very stubborn stuck cap-nut on the gas block and needed something I could really put some leverage on. This tool was the answer.

I've read several stories of how hard the castle nut is to get off a Springfield M1A. I bought the gas cylinder disassembly tool and changing the flash hider literally took me ten minutes. I don't think I could've completed the task without it.

There were some potential size issues with the other popular brand, so I went with the Springfield brand. The Springfield M1A Gas Cylinder Disassembly Tool fits perfectly on my 2020 SOCOM-16 rifle, and is a 'must have' tool for gas plug removal and installation.
