I replaced the original factory firing pin stop in my new Springfield Garrison. Great 1911, I highly recommend it. However the, the FP stop was a very loose fit causing erratic ejection issues. The new one I received is exactly as sloppy a fit as the original new one. I will be ordering an oversized FP Stop and fit it into the gun myself. I was hoping the new one was not a MIM part like the original but it actually is. It was worth a try because it was inexpensive. No reflection on Midwestgunworks. They sent what I asked for, an original Springfield Garrison Firing Pin Stop.

Fits tighter than the old one - even the extractor fits better. will see how it functions at the range...
