I originally found this product on the Springfield Armory website. Unfortunately, by the time I had decided to purchase the item it seemed to have been discontinued. I was very relieved to find the item available through MGW. The grips themselves are very nice. The checkering is aggressive enough to provide a good purchase on the gun while at the same time comfortable enough to get through a 300 - 400 round range session with no discomfort. The price was great and the time from placing the order to receiving the order was more than acceptable. I am very pleased with this purchase. And...the grips look GREAT on my 1911 Mil-Spec!!!
