Firearm bluing has been called many things over the years: Hot Blue, Black Oxide, Caustic Blue, Salt Blue and more. Regardless of the term you use Midwest Gun Works is the nation's premiere location to perform this service. All of our bluing services are performed by gunsmiths who know and understand the finer points of firearm bluing.
Pricing includes all applicable parts, disassembly and reassembly.
- Any touch up engraving, stampings, lettering, etc. will be quoted upon receiving firearm.

Over the years I have used MGW on several occasions to blue several shotguns- the finish work is always top drawer - would not send work anywhere else- always professional and helpful

I am very pleased with the completed project. Preparation appears very smooth surface. Blueing complete and very deep rich looking. Return shipping on time and well packaged. All interactions with the company were very professional and friendly. The old gun looks as good as new.
