You know you're already having a bad day when you actually need to order one of these. I know I was. I launched mine across the living room and MGW actually had these listed, AND they were in stock. No problems...you just have to be careful when installing this part or you'll lose it like I did. I was originally cleaning my gun and when I tried to reinstall the plunger, the 'tool' I was using to push it in slipped off and the spring sent the plunger who knows where in the ether. It is so tiny, I'm sure it is in the carpet somewhere, but I'll probably have to use a magnet or metal detector to find it :-)

It works

Like most of us looking for a replacement for a detent that has camouflaged itself somewhere in my workshop after launching itself and ricocheting off a ceiling or wall. This was a perfect fit. Just like the original there is a positive click when manipulating the safety lever. The safety stays in the position that you place it. I purchased 2, so I have a spare. This isn't the first spring detent that I haven't been able to locate.

Kept under spring pressure and retained by the safety lever it launches out when you rotate the safety out of the way. Installation is even worse. You push this down with a screwdriver tip (or whatever) and generally it slips out and launches like a little rocket before you can get the safety back over it. It ricochets around the room and you never see it again. I usually would usually lose two for each successful installation. Then I learned a trick. Go to the hardware store and buy a wood working nail punch. Get the medium sized one with a RECESSED TIP. There is a little recess in the tip that holds the plunger just fine! Haven't lost a single one since I figured this out!
