Description: PMM SCAR Modified Grip, Hogue Beavertail, FDE. Parker Mountain Machine now offers PMM Modified Hogue grips for both the SCAR 16/17 Weapons systems. PMM Machines the Grip removing  just enough material to get the Hogue Grip to fit your SCAR while not compromising strength. No need to modify the Lower  of  your rifle!  Simply remove the standard A2 unit and install the supplied PMM Modified Hogue grip, PMM flat washer, supplied bolt and square nut.

Product Features:

Hogue rubber grips are molded from durable synthetic rubber that is neither spongy nor tacky yet provides a soft recoil absorbing feel, without affecting accuracy. This modern rubber requires a completely different molding process than ordinary neoprene, which results in a superior grip. The flexibility of our materials and molding process has allowed us to produce rubber grips with features that outperform all other makes.

The grip being modified, fits perfectly on my scar 16s. I purchased another grip from a different brand, and even though they said it would fit. It didn’t…. It wouldn’t seat right and wouldn’t snug up in the lower. I am however partial to grips with the finger grooves though. But at this time it seems everyone is out of them. Especially the modified models. I have an email request in with MGW, and will purchase one when they become available.

Just what you would expect. Perfectly tight and flush fit. The hogue grip with beavertail looks better on the SCAR than the stock A2 grip, and because it's slightly larger and without the finger groove, it feels just right, more solid and sure. SCAR owners know the FDE is like a "frankencolor" of shades, but the hogue grip comes pretty damn close to matching the stock. PS. i live in Commiefornia, so my magpul grip fin will fit over the Hogue grip, to be featureless compliant.
