Description: PMM SCAR Square Side Keymod Panels, FDE. Parker Mountain Machine offers the first 6 position KeyMod Replacement Panel kit for both the SCAR 16/17 Weapon systems.CNC'd out of T6-6061 aluminum then hardcoated per military standards. The PMM Keymod Panels are a low Profile and light weight solution to mounting mission essential accessories on the SCAR 16/17 at the 3 or 9 O'clock position. These rails include all mounting hardware to properly mount to your SCAR rifle.

Vast improvement in handling and looks over the factory black polymer picattiny side rails. Its tricky to install though. The enclosed instructions are just OK, but not excellent. The SCAR side rail is fastened with a hex screw and an asymmetric threaded nut on the inside of the receiver. When you loosen and remove the hex screw, the forward nut will fall off. The back one seemed to stay put. So you either have to remove the bottom picattiny rail to be able to replace the nut, or even remove the entire barrel assembly. i did neither. I used dental floss to pass through the screw hole , tied on to the threaded nut in the proper orientation, then pull it up into position. It took a few tries, but the orientation is critical otherwise you will strip the nut. Once the project was successfully complete, I really love the look and feel. Tight, flush and solid. This is the way the SCAR should have been built. Definitely reccomend if you have the patience and tools.
